About Dr. David McDonald

I’m David McDonald, the Steward of the Fossores Chapter House.

In 2016, I was awarded the first-ever post-doctoral fellowship at Portland Seminary, and my work has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Time Magazine. My latest book, “Broken Teeth and Pretty Smiles”, is a daily devotional to encourage those paying the price of innovative Christian ministry.

To cultivate my continued passion for fitness, I also publish the Holy Alive Journal (holyalive.com) and serve as the Lead Chaplain for Faith RXd, an international collection of Christian Crossfitters. You can contact me directly at david@fossoreschapterhouse.com.

Is My Donation Tax Deductible?

Your donation is tax deductible and a charitable gift receipt is available for your contribution, regardless of which tier you select. All donations are received through our charitable giving portal, Secure Give.

Can I Make A Larger Recurring or One Time Donation?

If you believe in the mission to enliven preachers, leaders, and innovators you can become one of our key partners. Partnerships are available in three tiers:

  • Give a one-time donation to the ministry of Fossores

  • Establish a scholarship fund, endowment, or chair

  • Gift land or property to Fossores for development into a new location
